Running inspires people on so many levels. 

Running coaching is at the core of Positive Fitness and we are proud to offer a variety of running services to cater for all fitness & running levels and ages.

For many years I have been coaching new runners. Some of the comments I often hear from new runners are ...

"If only I could master how to breath when I'm running"

"Where should I be landing?"

"I just wish running felt comfortable for me"

Well guess what ... all humans can run but some of us just need to learn how to run correctly.

Many of my clients who have been through the learn to run program are now "runners". Some of them are happy to run as part of their weekly exercise just for fun or to manage stress levels. Others have set themselves some pretty amazing goals, like 10K races, 1/2 marathons, even full marathons. It doesn't really matter why you choose to run, you will benefit socially, physically and mentally.

  

Learn to Run  

Kathryn is a qualified coach and license holder for the popular and successful Paceline 'Learn to Run " Program. For over 15 years , this course has been helping people to achieve their running and fitness goals. Running should be enjoyable and pain free. Correct running technique will help you to achieve this with injuries becoming a thing of the past.

  

The 6 week beginners course run throughout the year in Sydney (in Mosman, Kirribilli, Crows Nest and Balgowlah Heights) and cater for the pure beginner through to people who have run in the past and are just keen to get back into it. 

Kathryn and her team of coaches have a genuine desire to help you get started and provide the support, encouragement and advice to ensure you get moving along the right track. You will learn technique, breathing, increasing time/distance, what to wear and lots of other tips.

Weekly handouts are provided (via email). Open to both males and females over 16 years. 

Investment in your health:  $120.00 for 6 week program (limited to 15)

Tuesday 22nd November @ 9.30 am - 11.00 am ( Week 6 will be held on saturday 24th Nov @ 8.00am)

Running Event Programs

Program length:                          9  weeks

Program commences:                 Week commencing 26 June

Training sessions:                       Interval -  Wednesday 9.00 am / Long Run -  Sunday 8 am

Cost :                                          $360.00  ( $20 per session)

Participation criteria - Program suits newer runners who run at or slower than 6 mins per km.  Ideally by you should be able to run 6km non-stop (speed is not important) by 26 June.  If you are unsure if this group is right for you contact Kathryn Holloway at 0400802125 Click here to book your spot.  

  

Strength & Conditioning Program

This 9 week program consists of full body workouts that are designed to increase strength, decrease body fat and improve overall conditioning.

It's the perfect program for runners of all levels, cyclists or for those looking to loose body fat in a much more efficient & effective way to really get results.

  

When : Tuesday @ 9.30 till 10.45 ( Followed by Coffee!)

Venue:  Alan Border Oval, Mosman

Cost:    $180 – 1hr15min session (bookings essential)
