Testimonials Personal Training "I have been training with Kathryn for over a year now and I love it! She is a great motivator and truly understands what her clients want. She is fun to be around and yet takes her training responsibilities very seriously. She works with me to set goals and makes sure we met them. Her programs are well thought out and never boring. I would recommend Kathryn to anyone that wants to get fit, meet goals and feel great." Mandy , Mosman Kathryn is a very passionate and bubbly person who is full of really useful and informative tips and exercises to help me improve my running form, pace and overall fitness. Her enthusiasm, support and encouragement is sometimes just the thing needed to get myself out on that cold morning when all I want to do is roll over and hit the snooze button! Kathryn understands that not everyone wants to be an elite athlete, but provides all the encouragement and help needed to reach your potential - I may not ever run as fast as Kathryn, but I’ll have a lot of fun getting to my own PB! Tina, Mosman I would like to thank you for all of your encouragement and training that prepared me for trekking and mountain climbing in East Timor. I was thanking you every step of the 1963 meters up Mt Ramelau! In just 6 weeks’ time, you whipped me into shape with your comprehensive programme, eating plan and butt kicking one on one sessions!! It felt really good knowing I was one of the most fit heading up that mountain J If I had not of met you and spent that time with you, I would not have even made it to the top. Thank you so much for getting my fitness back into tip top shape! Jodie, Cremorne Running Clinics "Starting off as a complete running novice Kathryn has got me hooked , this year I have participated in her Learn to Run/ Mothers Day Classic / Mini Mos and now 13km Pub to Pub’ programmes !! Kathryn manages to ensure that each training session is different and has the most amazing ability to not only get through each of these sessions but somehow motivates you enough to turn up to the next one ! Her endless energy, drive, enthusiasm along with the attention she takes into ensuring that you are training to the best of your own ability really is commendable. Our group think you are ace ‘ Coach ‘" Lisa, Mosman 2011 This was the year I decided to join the beginners running group. I hadn’t run for years, I had seen this in the Mosman Evening College a few years ago. I was 48 when I started, it did help that there were a couple of other women my age who started and were at the same pace as my self. In the 2nd term my husband joined along side me, as he wanted to achieve his time in the City to Surf, so guess what I went into the City to Surf (I wasn’t intending to). Kathryn’s class I have learnt sensible exercise techniques (not boot camp style) this made the city to surf alot more achievable for me. I got from the bottom to Heartbreak hill alot quicker than when I used to walk which would then become a dawdle, this time I kept up a pace that made this much more enjoyable for myself, although the temperature was a bit cooler thank goodness. My husband went his pace ( I feel it not fare to hold one back on my account) we met at the finish line. We did the bridge run, which I hadn’t planned to do as it was 9km’s we thought why not, the only downside was the very hot day it was. Whilst on holidays in the Blue Mountains over Christmas, my husband and I did the ruined Castle walk, at the beginning this is a bit hazardous going down and at the end hazardous going back up, towards the approach of the Ruined Castle going up as the silt/dirt could be quite slippery. Due to the fact that I persevered with the running and exercise classes and not given up or given into my negative head talk and participating in Kathryn’s class this gave me the stamina to face the above mentioned walk. I am at the age where it is very important for me to be out in the fresh air participating in exercise. The friendliness of others in the group has become an added bonus, Kathryn’s is a wonderful people person and full of encouragement this has made it a pleasure to be part of her beginners running group. Emeseni , Manly "Having really not done any running since my school days (am now in my early 40’s) – I decided 2011 was the year to learn how to run again. In February 2011 I joined one of Kathryn’s learn to run courses. We met twice a week and gradually increased the distance we were running. By the end of the 6 week course I could run over 5km’s. Now having got the running bug – I decided to take this one step further and enrolled in the Mothers Days Classic 8km race. A group of us trained for this and I’m really chuffed to say that we completed the course in 47 mins. Kathryn is a fun person and on top of that she is terrifically fit and a highly motivated individual which can only inspire others. What I particularly enjoy about her training sessions is that although they are hard, they are always fun. Every week we are doing different training sessions and her feedback is always positive and encouraging. Now we are in the midst of training for the Minimosmarathon 10k race! This is something I would never have dreamed I would be doing 6 months ago. I will definitely be continuing my running sessions with Kathryn beyond this. Maybe a I have half-marathon in me"!! Jo - Cammeray Group Exercise Classes "Kathryn's group exercise classes are just brilliant. In the months that I have been going, I cant believe how much fitter and stronger I am feeling. She really has worked wonders in my life. She is so creative when it comes to designing the classes and the exercises ... In fact sometimes, I forget I am actually exercising, as I have so much fun. Kathryn is very understanding and takes into account individual fitness levels and abilities. She is really motivating , so much fun and passionate about health & fitness" . Lisa - Mosman |
